Dry Spray (Gunite) Shotcrete
Confirma™ specialises in dry spray (gunite) shotcrete application. With this process, dry cementitious repair mortar is pumped in its dry form by high pressure air and then through a water ring in the nozzle.
Dry spray is ideal for small to medium repairs or in limited access conditions.
It offers the following advantages:
Easy to start-up, shutdown and cleaning, as there’s not wet product in the pump or hose
Production of shotcrete material is controlled on site
Dry material can be pumped long distances (300 metres horizontally or 150 metres vertically) enabling spraying in hard to reachlocations
