Scour Protection and Pressure Grouting
Confirma™ is the market leader in earth retention, reinstatement and protection. Our practical experience coupled with the materials, systems and equipment we use has given us a proven track record of providing permanent treatments to these issues.
Scour Protection
Scouring is the removal of ground and supporting material adjacent to wave or tidal action (seawalls, breakwaters and the like). Scouring is also common around bridge and culvert structures where there is poor protection, or the protective measures are damaged or overwhelmed during flood events.
Scouring can often undermine and compromise the structural integrity of these structures. Rip Rap and Geotextile, Gabion or Rock Wall Structures are the traditional and cost-effective methods of erosion control.
Underpinning and shotcrete are also effective methods for varying situations. ConfirmaPty Ltd is equipped to deal with all your scour protection needs.
Pressure Grouting
Pressure grouting is the process of injecting materials into otherwise inaccessible but interconnected pore or void spaces.
When using cementitious grouts, it is an especially cost-effective method of filling undetermined volumes to provide structure and stability to otherwise unstable ground and structures. It is also extremely effective at stemming or stopping waterflow through ground and structures.
Confirma Pty Ltd is an expert in pressure grouting using a broad range of systems such as cementitious, resinous and solution chemical mixtures. We have the expertise and range of equipment to solve your pressure grouting needs.
